Position Summary
The BA/Trainer will serve as a liaison between the Enterprise Analytics (EA) team to the broader organization. The primary focus of this role will be to elicit, analyze, specify, validate and document the business needs of stakeholders, be they customers or end users; in addition to training these stakeholders on data usage, best practices and tools. This includes interviewing stakeholders and gathering and compiling user requirements to understand the technology solutions they need. The BA/Trainer will also apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help the business make good technology decisions. The BA/Trainer will play a pivotal role in ensuring IT's understanding of business requirements. This position is responsible for the customer service, documentation and training associated with reports from multiple products, including but not limited to Cognos, QlikView and SPSS.
* Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or business degree with emphasis in
Management Information Systems or related field or equivalent.
* 3-5 years experience with job responsibilities demonstrating analytical and problem solving skills.
* Ability to conduct end-user requirements analysis.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* 1-3 years experience with relational databases (programming, design or defining data relationships).
* 1-3 years experience in role requiring consistent and comprehensive verbal, written and
documentation communication skills.
* Data warehouse experience preferred.
* Healthcare experience required.
* QlikView experience or other similar BI analytics tools preferred.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employee’s scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
