Department Overview

The Human Resources department at Children's partners with the employees and the managerial staff to provide services such as recruitment and staffing, employee services (benefit, compensation, retirement, and payroll processing), labor relations, HRIS program development and implementation, and organizational development.


Position Summary

Serve as a functional expert for the design, development and testing of new technologies for the HR function, to include, recruiting, training, benefits administration and payroll. We'll also count on this individual to help with day to day operations (including technology training) of the employee service center representatives (ESC), managers and other HR staff, providing maintenance, problem-solving and more.

Essential accountabilities:

*Participate in team and inter-team groups (HRIS and IT) to develop our Peoplesoft and Kronos systems.
*Develop standard and ad hoc reports for team metrics, processes and audit controls.
*Develop and implement audit controls for the ESC staff in the area of payroll and benefits, identifying data risks and data integrity issues and initiating solutions.
*Participate in system testing for our quarterly releases, maintain various tables within PS, and set up user accounts for Kronos.

College degree in Business, Human Resources or IT (or equivalent experience in a related field). 2-4 years of increasingly complex experience in PeopleSoft systems to include table set up for: payroll, base benefits, ben admin, administer workforce and advanced query writing. 1-2 years experience utilizing Kronos timekeeper system.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
Ability to develop, accurately document and train on new applications and processes. Good understanding of all the functions within HR and knowledge of related laws and regulations.
Effective oral, written, and listening communications skills.
Problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to make appropriate decisions, multi-tasking skills, independence and team skills.
Strong customer service skills with attention to detail and follow through.
